SCIC Special Campaign & Project Coordinator

Position term: March –  April 2019, inclusive.
70% of full time, 3.5 days /24.5 hrs per week
In-scope, temporary position – Program Officer Pay Schedule “A”

SCIC is seeking a passionate, organized and highly-skilled individual to coordinate and implement a two-month public engagement and public consultation program entitled “Engaging Canadians with the SDGs and the 2030 National Agenda”.

The successful candidate will coordinate multi-stakeholder consultations and roundtable discussions, and coordinate a pan-canadian SDG public engagement and promotional campaign. The successful candidate must have a valid driver’s licence and be able to travel within the province.

Proficiency in both English and French is considered an asset. Familiarity with and understanding of public consultative processes, multi-stakeholder engagement and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), additionally considered assets.

SCIC Program and Media Assistant

40% of full time, 2 days /14 hrs per week
In-scope, temporary position – Program Assistant Pay Schedule “A”

SCIC is seeking a passionate, skilled individual to assist with implementing and promoting our “Engaging Canadians with the SDGs and the 2030 National Agenda”  this initiative will seek to educate and engage Canadians to inform Canada’s Sustainable Development Agenda.

The successful candidate will assist with program specific logistics, promotion and procurement of promotional materials and resources. Familiarity with and understanding of public consultative processes, multi-stakeholder engagement and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), are considered assets.
