PWSD is the official development and relief agency of The Presbyterian Church in Canada. The work of PWSD includes responding to emergency situations, long-term community development with international partners working in health, education, agriculture and income-generation and refugee sponsorship by Canadian congregations. PWSD is also responsible for educating Canadian Presbyterians by promoting justice, peace and the integrity of creation. PWSD supports people and communities in Africa, Asia, Central America, and Eastern Europe according to their need and regardless of their faith.
